How to Get to Lollapalooza 2026

If you’re traveling by plane, Chicago is served by two major airports. The closest airport to Grant Park is Midway International Airport (MDW), located just 17 km (11 mi) from the park. The drive takes about 20 minutes. You can take the direct Orange Line (CTA) train, which takes about 20–25 minutes and runs every 15 minutes. Exit at Roosevelt or Harold Washington Library. 

Another major airport in Chicago is O'Hare International Airport (ORD), which is located 29 km (18 mi) from Grant Park. Take the direct Blue Line (CTA) train, which takes about 45 minutes and runs every 10–15 minutes. Exit at Jackson — it’s a 5–10-minute walk to the venue.

If you’re traveling by train, Chicago’s main rail hub is Union Station. The station serves over 500 destinations. Chicago Union Station is located only 1.5 km (1 mi) from Lollapalooza, so the best way to reach the venue is a 15–20-minute walk. You can also take the CTA #126 bus.
