You are late for the bus - what to do?
There are different force majeure situations. Being late for the bus is not the end of the world, especially with INFOBUS. Universal advice: arrive at the boarding place at least 30 minutes before departure.
Situation №1 - you missed the bus for personal reasons and don't know what to do next? Contact our support service or directly to the driver at the phone number indicated on your ticket or get the carrier's contacts through the online chat on the INFOBUS website.
Situation №2 - there is no way to warn the driver in advance about your delay, and there is no bus at the boarding place. Again, INFOBUS assistants or the carrier's support service come to the rescue. We do not recommend catching up with the bus by taxi on your own. After all, there have been such cases. The driver simply does not have the opportunity to stop on the way and goes strictly according to the route and schedule. The solution to this situation is to rebook a ticket for another date or later departure time through the INFOBUS support service.
Situation №3: "What if I warned in advance that I would be late, will the driver wait for me?". Please note that most bus stations in Ukraine and Europe have a limited bus stop time. The limit is 10-15 minutes to drop off and pick up passengers. The carrier simply cannot afford to stand an extra minute, as it will be fined. Frequent waiting for passengers can cause cancellation of the permit to enter the bus station.
• What to do if you know that you are definitely late for boarding?
1) Call the call center or directly to the driver and clearly agree on a specific place where he can wait for you.
2) We do not recommend standing on the highway or somewhere on the roadside without an address - this will only complicate the process of finding the bus driver. The carrier can send geodata to the messenger or in a message with the location of the vehicle.
3) Know the time period when you plan to arrive at the boarding and provide information to the bus driver. Note that it is the driver who determines the place and time where he can wait for the passenger, and not vice versa.
Such tips reduce the waiting time and compensate for the inconvenience to the driver and other passengers. Carriers are responsible for the timeliness of the bus. The delay of one person can bring a lot of inconvenience for the other 50-60 passengers who are together on the trip.

It will be really nice if info bus add the photos of the pick up location according to the stops. It will be really helpful for the international community.
