How to Get to Sziget 2026

The festival takes place in Budapest, Hungary. The city has global connections with major European hubs by plane, train, and bus: 

• Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport (BUD) is the main airport serving the city. The airport offers excellent international connections and serves as a primary hub for Wizz Air. The airport lies 16 km (10 mi) from the city center. 
• Budapest Keleti Station is a primary international rail hub in the city. It operates routes to Vienna, Prague, Munich, Zurich, Salzburg, and more. The station is located 3 km (2 mi) from the city center. 
• Buses to Budapest run from major European cities. It’s also one of the cheapest ways to travel between cities.

The best way to reach Sziget is by public transport, taxi, or bike. Take HÉV H5 from Batthyány tér or Margit híd and exit at Filatorigát.
