Driver is insufferable, rude and destructive with luggage

My biggest problem was the driver's attitude. I had 3 boxes of aid to bring to Ukraine, as well as two large sacks (120 L each) and two small sacks (50 L each), all with clothes and toys for Ukraine, and only one box with jars of food. Even though it said FRAGILE on it, the driver insisted to put it in a T shape on top of my suitcase, where it was inevitably going to fall from, breaking all the jars. It was also a heavy box, destroying my suitcase. After we contradicted, he placed it in another high place, where it could fall from. Border was crossed without incident. After the crossing, I demanded to check my luggage and he refused. During the road, I heard something crash in the luggage compartment and once again requested access to my things. Once again, he refused and raised his voice. Only in Chernivtsi I get my things and I notice that my sacks of clothes were wide open, the box was without lid and all the clothes for donations were spread everywhere. I could have closed them myself, if he told me that my things were searched at the border. Or at least later, if he only allowed me access to my own things. This behaviour is intolerable. Also, I had purchased 2 tickets precisely to have enough space in the compartment for all my things. He criticised me saying that I shouldn't have done it. Also, the bus was scheduled at 8.10 and it came at 8.56.

Excellent journey in a comfortable bus. The driver got us through the border very quickly. Not so impressed with him smoking and driving with one hand while on the telephone.

I have travelled this route with Tarsin many times and have always been very happy. This time I was forced to cancel the trip because of the ridiculously long queues at the border entering and leaving the EU’s schengin area. If I had taken my usual bus I would have missed my flight. I am sorry not to have travelled with Tarsin because they have always been excellent.

Great trip. Bus was clean and comfortable. Drivers were polite and professional.
