Me and my wife were on the bus yesterday from Lviv at 19:30 headed to Warsaw and we want to file a complaint concerning the behavior of the driver.
1. The driver was 10 minutes late and did not notify us via phone nor did he apologize for being late.
2. At the border, he did not return my passport (I alone was a foreigner) until we passed border control on both sides though all the other Ukrainian passengers had received their passport back. His explanation for illegally withholding my passport was that he wasn’t sure if I needed a visa to enter EU. I explained to him that the Japanese passport grants visa free access for 90 days to all EU countries and that the Japanese passport is the most powerful passport in the world and this information is readily available on the internet.
But he continued to mumble and rudely told me to go back to my seat.
3. He continued to refer to me as a Chinese though I clarified I was Japanese and he had my Japanese passport so he could not have made the mistake without racist intent.
4. He only stopped once during the 10 hour trip for bathroom break not counting the brief stop at the border control. But! During the trip, in Lublin, he stopped at a Biedronka to shop for his own groceries for 50 minutes!
My wife and multiple female passengers complained that they could not wait longer but he did not stop until 3-3:30 am which was nearly 5 hours since the last stop at the border.
