RegioJet is leading private train and bus operator in Central Europe. It is headquartered in Brno and Prague in the Czech Republic with operations also in Slovakia, Austria, Germany and other Central European countries. Annually it serves over 16 million passengers on trains and buses. It operates fleet of over 150 long-distance coaches, including the state of the art Astra coaches with individual touch screens and onboard entertainment in each seats. At the same time, it operates fleet of 200 long-distance buses connecting Prague, Bratislava, Vienna and Berlin with key capitals in other European countries and regional centers in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. All the buses also have the individual board entertainment for passengers in each seat and the average age of the bus fleet is 2-3 years.
The company is owned and managed by Czech entrepreneur, Radim Jančura, awarded the Czech Entrepreneur of the Year 2006 by Ernst and Young. He started his business activities as a university student in 1994, first providing educational and working services for students abroad.
Till today, the company has developed into the leading private train and bus operator in Central Europe and also the leading company also in other travel industries – including airline tickets, holiday packages and others.
RegioJet trains and buses have been awarded “The Best Customer Experience Award” in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, organized by KPMG company.
