Pretty sure economical way to travel. We were expecting a big coach but it was a small minivan. Quite comfy though and left on time. Travel time was longer than expected due to traffic when arriving in Italy. Driver was fine and didn’t say much. Overall a positive experience.
It was very difficult to find the pick up place because it is a random point in the parking of the Marco Polo Airport and the bus is not a bus but a van. Then, the driver was all the time on the phone and driving roughly. Not recommended
We found it difficult to find the “bus” it was not at the location provided. Instead it was a van at a nearby car park. It wouldn’t take much to let us know to wait in the car park. Very misleading by INFOBUS to not disclose the exact location and that we would be in a van! We were supposed to take 3-3.5 hours to arrive at our destination but ended up taking 5.5 hours. We drove around in circles at the local airport for an hour to pick up other passengers- there was no communication as to why. We ended up leaving our departure city about 1.5 hours after we thought we would squished into a van with others. The driver was on his phone most of the trip and vaping in the van - very unprofessional. I would not recommend this carrier. Nor would I recommend INFOBUS who continue to support this carrier.
We had tickets from Trieste airport to Ljubljana, where they were supposed to pick us up at 12:20 pm, and we were supposed to arrive at 2 pm.
The van arrived 30 minutes late. Whenever we called the driver, he kept saying he would arrive in 10 minutes, which was a lie.
The ticket states that the journey is direct, but that's not true. They made a stop in Koper, taking a long detour, and we arrived there at 1:50 pm. Even without traffic, we would have arrived at least 1.5 hours later than the agreed time (assuming there was no traffic, but there was).
When we expressed our disagreement and called the company, they treated us very rudely, blaming everything on traffic, even though they were poorly scheduled regardless of traffic conditions. They didn't listen to us, the driver spoke to us in a disrespectful manner, and he wouldn't let us explain ourselves.
One of the worst experiences, and when we requested a refund, they ignored us.
Additionally, the driver wouldn't stop talking on the phone and drove recklessly. Both us and another couple were horrified by the service.
We were happy with the service, once we found the bus!!! It was extremely frustrating looking for the DRD bus at Piazalle Roma bus station. We were an hour early and despite asking many information staff “where is the bus to Ljubliana?” No one knew. So I called the number and he said “B1”. I was waiting at the B1 bus stop, but found out that he was parked where the vans were, in the car park. My husband was told by someone that the bus to Ljubliana leaves from Tronchetto. He was about to get on the people mover and go to the other station! I think to avoid this, maybe add in brackets after Piazelle Roma (in van park adjacent to bus station) that would help. In the frustration of finding the bus, I lost my wallet.
