I do not recommend traveling with this carrier. Less than 10 minutes after we left the station, the driver lit a cigarette, and this continued for the entire journey. When I asked him to stop because it was making me feel unwell, one of the drivers listened and stopped smoking; however, the other one told me off and suggested I go sit at the back of the bus. That didn’t help at all, as the entire cabin was filled with smoke! And he smoked very frequently! Communication at the border was also poor—no one really explained where to go or when to get off.

I strongly do NOT recommend Huntur! I travelled with this company on 23 October 2026 on the 22:30 bus from Sofia to Istanbul, and the behaviour of the staff was absolutely unacceptable. I had purchased several items in different EU countries and needed to get a customs officer’s stamp on my Tax Free forms. I asked the staff to wait while I went to get the required stamp, but they refused and told me that they would leave without me if I went to customs. What made the situation even worse was their rude and arrogant attitude. Not only did they refuse my request, but they also discussed the situation among themselves and made fun of me. I understand some Turkish, which was enough to understand what they were saying. This was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. A company that treats its passengers this way does not deserve their trust. I would never recommend Huntur to anyone. Avoid this company if you can!

It was horrible! The driver dropped us all off, with our luggage, about 30 km short of Belgrade, somewhere in the suburbs at a bus stop, and told us to make our own way into the city by public transport. It was 5 a.m.! I’ll never use this service again. 🫪

The bathroom was closed. 🥴

The bus never came. We had to spend 170€ for taxis to get to Kavala. We are upset. How can you ask me about my travel since you know exactly that your bus never left from Blagoevgrad. By the way, we were looking for a flixbus. Nobody informed us that it would be city liners. We already asked for refund plus the reimbursement of the taxi fee.

This was my first experience with public transport in Bulgaria. I liked everything. The bus departed and arrived on schedule. The power outlets worked, they gave water at the entrance to the bus. No complaints
